The e-geo.ch Innovation Award assists and supports participants and their innovations. The ceremony provides participants with media coverage and publicity in target groups. The award honors participants who contribute to NSDI with their innovative ideas and projects, and promotes education and research in the realms of geo-information in Switzerland.
The following three categories will be awarded:
- Newcomer Award: a college thesis or dissertation (bachelor, masters)
- Innovation Award: projects or developments by organizations or companies with a special innovative contribution to NSDI
- Honorary Award: appreciation for those persons who have made a particular contribution to NSDI. This award may be presented through nomination by the e-geo.ch steering committee
To participate at the Innovation Awards, candidates may register from June 1 to July 31. The written paper must be turned in no later than July 31. Registration will be carried out exclusively through the Internet.
The ceremony and announcement of the winners of the e-geo.ch Innovation Awards will take place at the e-geo.ch Forum this fall.
